Let's face it...their bread and butter is fans travelling to see multiple shows (and buying tons of merch) and they've admitted to that. Once they start down this path, I think they'll see those numbers dwindle. And it doesn't help that tickets aren't getting any cheaper.

Yes, I'm whining. Yes, they can do whatever the hell they want. I just never thought they'd do this.

This was my experience in Vancouver as well. The new stuff sounds so fucking good. People seem to be digging it. I love this format so much for this tour. If they tour in the years between DM and album 13, I’d expect something different. For now, it’s almost perfect. If I had one minor complaint, it’s the lack of Gigaton. That album never really felt like it was properly supported, and I understand why, but I’d love to see a couple songs from it at each show.

It feels out of character to have a predictable portion of the setlist. Not good or bad, just very different than the past where highly dynamic setlists were a point of pride. Again not good or bad but different than what fans have come to expect.

I mean, theyve been closing the show with Alive, RITFW/Baba, ledbetter for the last 20 years *shrugs*
