Please save NAIS for Sydney.brisjam wrote:Not a big one for picking songs I'd like to hear before a show.
But I think Binaural is only album untouched from 2 Aussie Shows.
Could handle Nothing as it Seems or even more unlikely Of the Girl. Even Insignificance.

Re: 2024-11-18: Melbourne, Australia
Been out for a stroll and a cup of coffee on this balmy Melbourne Spring morning.
The Volcom line was about 100m long about 9:45, so 15 minutes before they open.
Came back past about 10:15 and the line had doubled. Biggest line up I have seen yet.
I spoke to a couple who had just come out and they said they got there to queue at 8.
For anyone interested apparently only about 15 skate decks in stock but still had both posters.
This may be the worst arrangement for merch I have ever seen. On the plus side if you just want a shirt it should be way easier at venues now.
So very pleased to have got the posters sorted yesterday.

I got that asked that yesterday straight after buying them and seriously can't remember what I paid. It's either $60 or $65.
You get the artist sale after as well, limited stock, they are usually $100 to $130 plus post.
That's how I had to grab Mel 1, but I like it is artist signed and being posted to my house.

It is one of the great things about travelling for gigs. Some many out in Pearl Jam gear it's easy to stop and had a conversation with a random.
I'm not even wearing Pearl Jam gear but nice to meet some people.
Melbourne sure is a great city. I mean the weather is just awful, make up your mind!
Public transport is next level and the venues are brilliant.
Great multi-cultural city too, I reckon I have seen a crackpot of most ethnicities screaming or talking to themselves so far.
Great coffee.
I am surprised at the number of rough sleepers down near the Spencer centre. So little protection down here and it's been a wind tunnel last day or so.
In a city and country so wealthy it's inexcusable really. But I know it's very common in Brisbane and Sydney too.

Still posters available as of about 1/2 hour ago. Still a long line. Seems the cockatoos is the popular one. I guess if you are like me and don't follow AFL the other one is a bit lost on you.
The big upside is if you want a shirt the merch tents are open and there was practically no one there. I had to get a shirt for a mate and one for my daughter, no waiting. Best merch experience yet.
I was told at Volcom no more Skate Decks in stock.
I don't know this from an official source but there is apparently stock for Sydney shows.
