I love the venue their playing in, best sounding place in the city. And this will be my first time on the first floor right by the stage in this place.

Pearl Jam played that venue in 1992. I missed it however :(

It's pretty impressive that they've gone from playing the Mercury Lounge (which holds about 150-200 people) to playing Terminal 5 (which is 3000+ I believe) in six months time, without the album even being released yet.

I was shocked back when Pearl Jam announced that Global Citizen Poverty thing Kelly Curtis started, to see Chvrches as one of the artists. I didn't know they were known enough to be on that list. Listening to them in interviews though, they seem to have a social consciousness. Lauren loves her rock music too, so she is probably a PJ fan.

I've enjoyed everything Haim has put out (especially Forever), but having heard CHVRCHES play most of what's gonna be on their album when I saw them in March, I expect it to be absolutely stunning. I expect the Haim one to be a great time, but the CHVRCHES one has the potential to be transcendent.

The Mother We Share -> Sink is a wonderful opening combo.

I'd rather the dude not sing (Martin Doherty). Even his backup vocals. He is really into his playing live which I enjoy the energy, but in my opinion let Lauren do all the singing. I like the backup vocals on The Mother We Share though. I have heard almost all the songs at least live versions already, but still a fantastic listen.
