This is the first thing i've heard from the new album that has me genuinely excited.

Complete overreaction to a 30 second clip, but this is what I want to Pearl Jam to sound like at this stage of their career.

I hear a slightly sped-up Fast Car.

I can't wait to hear more of those backing vocals!

Same. Put someone else on production, make this type of music and you have a late career highlight. Unfortunately...

Just had a conversation with myself and was forced to acknowledge that I'm so much less likely to go ham and lose my shit over Ed's over annunciation like I did yesterday when I actually like the song.

Still don't like the way Ed sounds, but this is easily the best thing I've heard from the album so far, even though it does sound pretty REM/Petty generic.

not exited with the clip no. Sounds way too poppy for my like, those background vocals....who is that? watt?

I'm not the biggest fan of this middle-america, roots rock, Mellencamp stuff, but... the REM undertones win the day for me here

is this how they've decided to roll out the rest of the album? 30-second clips every other day until release?

It has potential but I'm still worried it could veer into Sirens (sitcom theme song) territory... I really hope it stays more in the Daughter lane

I like it! Easily the best of the bunch so far. Love that guitar part.

All I can say is this:
The last seconds of the clip (when the back vocals begin) brought a smile to my face.
After 2 songs and a 30 second clip, it's about time.
