Thanks again, team. Super appreciate all the well wishes and birthday love. It really does mean the world.

It was a great day. A long morning run (featuring a celeb cameo!). Fries, steak tartar, and wine for lunch at one of my favorite spots. A long, leisurely and fruitful trip to my favorite independent bookstore. Negronis and snacks in the sunshine at a sidewalk cafe that allowed me to pretend I was in Europe. Red velvet cake and Ripley on Netflix to close.

Perfection.

But it all started the day before when we saw Mary Jane staring McAdams in her Broadway debut. And we're gonna keep the party going today by driving to Connecticut to see our dear friend in a production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood (one of my personal faves) at Godspeed!

And then Friday there's new St Vincent!

2024 is coming up all Joey :heartbeat:

Love y'all. Thanks again.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.
