I’m scared of thrill rides.

I love Disneyland (have also been to Orlando and Paris). Pirates is my favorite and Indiana Jones is a close second. Big Thunder Canyon edges Space Mountain for me because of the theme, but I love both. The Cars ride in the other park is brilliant. I’m not a Disney adult, but I think I enjoy vacations to SoCal with Disney more than any other kind of vacation.

The Harry Potter ride at Universal is my favorite virtual ride, edging the always underrated Star Tours, but I really don’t enjoy the rest of the park.

The Disney adults … holy fuck. Out of control. I was not ready for that.

Lots of great rides and we hit them all (skipped several kiddie ones).

Did Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

Na’vi River Cruise is by far the worst ride of the entire lot. Super long line and zero payoff on the ride itself. Brutal.

Avatar and Tron were amazing, Aerosmith coaster very good. Had time to do Tower of Terror twice, that was awesome.

The Star Wars stuff all had incredible attention to detail and I’m sure big fans absolutely are in heaven there, but I thought the rides were just ok compared to many others.

Loved the animal safari. Loved it.

I got the front row on Splash Mountain (Tiana’s) and got absolutely soaked.

I went to Na’vi River Cruise when it opened and i kinda understand why it was so popular, but these days? I wouldnt do that very long line again for that

I’ve been having a hard time in the elevator at work lately, due to my Guardians of The Galaxy experience a couple weeks ago.

Looking at Universal Studios Hollywood in February.

One day enough to hit all the good rides?

I think so. It's not a huge park.

Probably the scariest I have been on is the chain swings at Kennywood Park here in Pittsburgh

it is old and looks worn out and it seems like the chains are going to break at any moment. add in a douche behind you kicking you all over the place and it is high anxiety

Image

it appears they have spruced it up since i have last been there (25-30 years ago)

the black widow and those types of rides I couldn't muster the courage to go on

Image

ETA: the racer is a fun coaster to go on. not because it is scary but because it is a Mobius loop track. there are two coasters side by side and you always finish on the opposite side. both trains travel on one continuous track and for the life of me I can not figure out where the switch over happens.

I'm going to an amusement park this weekend. Our 4 year old is tall enough to go on his first roller coaster...

That's the precise age where your risk calculations start to calibrate. Our 8 year old is a little unsure that he wants to ride any coasters.

The younger one is really tall for his age, so he did a Viking ship ride before he was 2. Such a thrill seeker!

Bam Fam heading to Universal Studios and Six Flags Magic Mountain for spring break.

One day at each should be enough to hit all the big rides.
