I don't really know why I find Rearviewmirror boring. I don't dislike it. I'm tapping my foot to it right now.

It just seems like a standard, formulaic rock tune, it runs a little long (and then the band extends it longer in concert), and the lyrics don't particularly resonate with me. Plus, the band obviously likes it. It's the only non-hit on the best of album. I feel like it's overplayed and overrated.

It's probably one of my least favorite songs on Vs.

I was working at target(irony) part time in 93 when I gOt called to the audio section. They sent me out the back to see the manager and I thought I was in trouble for something.

The girls had received a box full of vs cds and were attaching those old security tags so they be put on display tomorrow.

She knew I was a massive Pearl jam fan and said "take one and pay me tomorrow" with a big smile on her face. Rung up the gf and said date cancelled.

Plan was to listen from start to finish without stopping.

But after go I thought I have to listen to that again. After animal I thought I have to
Listen to that just one more time and after daughter.

I started the album again and just let it go.

The gf didn't get the message about date cancelled (answering machines not mobiles in those days) and walked in when I was jumping around the room to blood.

I told her to leave and come back in 20 minutes so I can finish it.

My favourite pj album. It doesn't have a bad song on it IMHO.

Rats and wma are two of pjs most underrated songs.

It was such an exciting time. I remember buying Vs and Ten (and later SuperUnknown) for a girlfriend just so I knew there were copies at her house. Couldn't go a day without these albums.
