I'm talking about the ortolan.

"The ortolan is served in French cuisine, typically cooked and eaten whole. Traditionally diners cover their heads with their napkin or a towel while eating the delicacy. The bird is so widely used that its French populations dropped dangerously low, leading to laws restricting its use in 1999."

That's different. And also something I've never tried. But I probably would?
Too freaky looking for me. Chomping on a baby bird whole? I know it's illogical and I've eaten way grosser things but I don't like it

I don't like it either. Yeah, you're right. I can't imagine actually trying it. I tried to play it cool but there's just no way.

I did a cruise once. It was fine. I had a good time seeing a ton of different places and I love being at sea. There was something really spiritual and moving about being out on the deck of the ship at midnight in the middle of the ocean. It was a kind of darkness I'd never experienced. There was just nothing but stars. No horizon. No water line, no sky, seemingly. Just a void and the smell of the ocean. God, it was awesome.

We’ve done a few cruises. Really the most relaxing vacations we’ve taken. I’ve come to enjoy them.

I'll come visit you. Also, lol all of those destinations look fantastic except you have to get on in LA (gross) and off in Ft. Lauderdale (grosser).

Hard to know if I never will, but I hope this will always be the case: never shit on an airplane. I can’t even imagine.

snorting anything. i hate using flonase let alone sniffing a bunch of powder

I absolutely would love to do a cruise to Antarctica, or somewhere like the Balkans. can't imagine doing one with a bunch of kids and old people though.

Oh man that really sucks for your kids. I think most of us fondly remember our first hot air balloon with our dads. I hope you reconsider.
