Yeah I’d rather be Mike’s side as well
Mike is all cheap theatrics: throwing picks, finger pointing, playing the guitar behind his head, etc.daft twat wrote:Interesting take. Why?Birds in Hell wrote:But that’s the best side.B wrote:God damn it. Why am I always on Stone's side.
That’s a fair list of admittedly cheap theatrics. He’s also wildly entertaining. In Vancouver he walked right off the stage. I’d argue that it’s really Jeff’s side of the stage, though. He’s the most important member of the band, in my opinion. I love Jeff so much.Birds in Hell wrote:Mike is all cheap theatrics: throwing picks, finger pointing, playing the guitar behind his head, etc.daft twat wrote:Interesting take. His side also attracts the most annoying fans.
Stone, meanwhile, is stoic; solid; grooving in his own space. He's quietly the most important member of the band.
His side is the connoisseur's choice.
yeah - Mike's side is just superior. And if you're on the rail right in front of the little set of stairs he uses to walk down to or toward the audience, you're likely getting some sort of physical contact. I got to strum his red tele last yr in Balt (w pick in hand actually) as he held it out for us. Unforgettable moment. I love stone and all, but you're getting very little interaction most of the time. Sure, ed comes over, as does mike and Jeff at times but, not the same. I guess if you like looking at Boom's hair.....96583UP wrote:i think 80% of my shows have been Stone side
but have to say I was Mike side for both this tour and really enjoyed it
being Stone side meant I didnt have that first hand view of mike throughout
really enjoy his energy and then obv when it’s solo time you’re right there
team mike side
His faces were in full form during his time to shine on DtE last night.Monkey_Driven wrote:I prefer Stone's side, only because it gives you a better angle to see the goofy faces he makes when playing tasty licks.

Matt makes some nice ones too. They’ve both been fun to watch this tour.Monkey_Driven wrote:I love that man so much.E.H. If Pearl Jam is going to post things for sale while we're literally watching them play, the least they could do is play the shit they're selling.wease wrote:All or None would be amazing
