Started this a few days back. Three episodes in, and loving it!

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
By the last three episodes, i was fast forwarding through any scene with his wife or daughter. Completely unnecessary to the story and to me out of every episodeMatters wrote:The main female characters are not realistic.
I was thinking about this the other day and other than just showing what kind of day-to-day bullshit Tommy has to put up with, there’s no real reason for them to even be in the show. They add nothing other than having hot chicks on there but the lawyer is prettier than they are and Demi is there as well. Plus, we’ll see the daughter when 1923 comes back. So, yeah. No reason to have them at all.E.H. Ruddock wrote:By the last three episodes, i was fast forwarding through any scene with his wife or daughter. Yeah, but that poor widow he’s taking advantage of is smoking’ hot.bada wrote:I don't mind the wife and daughter they are kind of fun. Sorta. It gives him something to lose. I actually find the son to be out of this world boring.

This. I thought for sure the daughter was going to be taken by the Cartel for leverage. But there's still season 2.bada wrote:It gives him something to lose.
Me too when they were swimming I was thinking here it comes and then a bunch of other times after that....Stickman wrote:This. I thought for sure the daughter was going to be taken by the Cartel for leverage. But there's still season 2.bada wrote:It gives him something to lose.
Half way through episode 5. I’m done. Why should I care if he loses characters that aren’t believable? Yes the son is boring. Yes the widow is smoking but also unrealistic. Does Sheridan hire female writers? I didn’t read the credits.Stickman wrote:hells yeah.wease wrote:Yeah, but that poor widow he’s taking advantage of is smoking’ hot.bada wrote:I don't mind the wife and daughter they are kind of fun. He really has finger on the pulse of a certain type of man these days though. The kind of guy who hates wokeness and dreams of being a real manly man out west ranching and working the oil fields. Manly men stuff.bada wrote:Sheridan makes soap operas for dads.
