I loved it because it might be the best combat system in the modern era and it's certainly one of the prettiest games I've ever played.

Ghost of Tsushima is absolutely worth a play. I'm debating a second play through soon to get ready for its sequel, due out in October. Prob my most anticipated game this year. Couldn't get enough of the combat and yes its gorgeous to boot. So is the score

Ghost of Tsushima is really great. Can’t wait for the sequel.

This might be the best looking PS5 game. Surprising when you consider that it was developed as a PS4 game. I expect the sequel to look stunning.

I put over 130 hours into Odyssey. The scale and beauty of the environment is incredible. It blows my mind how much detail is carefully rendered and never seen because we’re just running through doing tasks.

There was a lot of cool content in this game to appreciate, but it all got too repetitive. I wish I could have just done the main story, but the game basically requires you to do a million side quests to level up and progress.

I love Greek mythology, and for that, Fenyx is a much better game. This Assassin’s Creed game is at the bottom of my gaming experiences so far this year,

Started Tomb Raider 2013 yesterday. I’m almost done. What a joy this game is. I ordered the two sequels this evening. These are just like the Uncharted series. I never heard anyone talk about them, though.

Love the new Tomb Raider Trilogy, but they are nothing like Uncharted. They have the same coat of paint, that's it. The 3rd one's a bit buggy.

Nothing like?

Treasure/artifact hunting. Mythology. Normal and supernatural baddies. Insane parkour skills. Serial killing protagonist often dispatching dozens of people at once. Big set pieces. Simon says (triangle button now!) decision making during set pieces. Collectibles/relics that don’t matter at all. Linear gameplay with sandbox sections of map to spread out and explore. There’s a lot in common. I love both. We’ll see how the trilogy plays out. I’d say I prefer Tomb Raider because there are less henchmen, but story-wise, the Uncharted characters are much more memorable.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was also enjoyable, but I think I preferred the jungle setting of part 1 more. Looking forward to Shadow, but I’ve read it’s the weakest of the trilogy. What makes Uncharted superior to these is the cast of recurring characters.

I don’t have a next game chosen after Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Playing time diminishes significantly once school starts. Hogwarts, GoW Ragnarok, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, and Ghosts of whatever are all on my radar. I’m also considering doing all the resident evils. I played 1, zero, and 4 on the GameCube/wii back in the day.

While Ragnarok is excellent, I'm not sure if it's worth playing the PS4 version. RE2 is essential gaming, especially if you never played it before.

Why not? I don’t care about graphics. I don’t even know what frames per second are, tbh. The only time I’ve been annoyed a little are load times when fast traveling in Odyssey and Tomb Raider, but it’s not a deal breaker.

It's using every ounce of the PS4's power. The PS4 is loud while playing this. I don't think it impacts gameplay.

Upon Googling, it runs fine and stable, it's just loud. It's a great game.

Oh man, to play Ragnarok for the first time again. Definitely prioritize that one. Only negative on that one was too, too much Atreus.
