I think enough time has passed that I can tell this story. A few years ago, I don't remember when, but it was prior to 2020, I was traveling for work. I'd been off the board for a day or two, and when I sat down at my computer, I had a PM from you. You were pointing me toward a post you had made calling me something juvenile, like "poopyhead" or something along that vein. I knew your username, but really didn't know anything about you, and I had no idea why you were calling me names.

It turned out, Sarge had locked a thread of yours where you were being an asshole (I don't remember the details, but you can imagine), and you decided it was me that locked it, so you called me names. Since I hadn't been on the board, I had no idea what you were doing, why your thread was locked, or that you had called me a poopyhead. I would have never known, except that you couldn't resist sending me a PM to make sure I saw it.

I think that was my favorite ban that I've ever issued. It was also my first real memory of Dev and the defining moment of our relationship.

man, mods sure have lots of cool histories about us i guess, and i con only imagine the bizarre number of PMs they have received over the years.

thank you for finally learning who I am, and also teaching me a lesson about making assumptions, and also reminding me that if a moderator did something bad it was probably Epilogue.

B, you could always pre-emptively mod Dev now. I don't see him abusing those powers.
