It is. A little bit. Matt's playing a country shuffle and there's some slide guitar going on.
Yeah there's a country shuffle as I'd hoped. It's country-tinged, but in a Kings of Leon washed-in-reverb way. I'm going to go against the grain and say I'm happy with that.

i'd have loved the twang from 'Down' sound on this one.

also not what I was expecting. The start reminds me of some smashing pumpkins song. A mellon collie era b-side. Fuck, which one.

I like this one.

if you liked Ed's solo uke album, you'll probably like it.

i didn't like that album at all, so...

okay, this song didn't need that little solo. Otherwise I like the cheerful little shuffle in this one.

some of the outro flourishes weren't necessary either.

other than the songs he's played with PJ, i couldn't really tell you what songs i liked/disliked, but this song doesn't do a thing for me in either arrangement.

funny thing is, save for 2-3 songs, i ADORED Into The Wild.

not really sure why they felt the need to include the uke on this version of this song too? :?

i thought if they'd done something cool with the arrangement i'd be ok with them including it, but it's not a very interesting arrangement at all.

Its beachy.
