funny, my initial reaction was that i felt like this sounds like him 10-15 years ago and was wondering if it’s an old recording.
It sounds like 2003-ish era Ed. I would bet a good amount the recording is from that timeframe.

The breathiness and the weird enunciation make me think it is way more recent than 2003
