Normie pick. "Where Is My Mind" in Fight Club is possibly the best ever. But maybe I'm biased because it's the first time I heard that beautiful band. That shit hit.

Scorsese is definitely at the top of the hill on this particular art. When he drops that Roy Buchanan song at the end of
The Departed while the camera pans to the rat on the balcony railing is pretty smart. The average viewer might not know the song, but finding out it's called "Sweet Dreams" is very nice delayed gratification.

Were you familiar enough with Roy Buchanan in 2006 to name the tune? I wasn't and I'm average at best.
