I don't think it's one-sided, I've seen plenty of flippant and triumphant posts from those who'd identify on the left.

It seems like there is a very real culture war at the political and social level and I wouldn't say that's something to level blame at one side or the other, it's a legitimate incompatibility in views that's now bleeding out into actual or attempted murders.

I'm glad not to live over there.

I’m sure my post was insensitive.

It’s frustrating to live here. It’s sad that our kids have to do active shooter drills. Why can’t they go to school without the threat of someone killing them? It’s sad this keeps happening. It’s sad that no one cares, and only offer up thoughts and prayers. Fuck that. We are supposed to be a great nation, but we’re such a fucking joke.

It was a private school ran by a church. It was right across the street from my company’s home office and my boss’s grandchildren went there. One of them had a friend that was killed.
