After this happened I took my dog for a walk around lake nokomis. At one point about 15 shitty unmarked SUVs came ripping by blaring their sirens. All cars had to slam the cars onto the side to let them pass. After a hot ticket people started honking their horns and flipping them off.
About an hour later i got a message from my little sister she was with a group who was tear gassed.
ICE are fucking terrorists. You know these piece of shit backwoods goons train on their little al qaeda like pull up bars in the backwoods of their parents house.
Fuck them and anyone who supports them. And fuck those that cheer this murder on and shame the victim.
This country fucking sucks.
I love Minnesota and I'm sorry this is happening in your neighborhood.

I hope someone shoots Kristi Noem in the face three times while she's driving home tonight.

The response by many to the event is simply abhorrent, thankfully my office was totally silent on the matter today but yeah, these are the worst people.
I can't say I condone this particular visceral response, human life and all but if she were driving Stephen Miller home from a night of evil mongering and missed the curve driving straight off a very large cliff... Idunno, would probably be a net positive in the long run so what do I know.

Oh this isn't visceral. This is something I've thought about soberly for a while now. If we were talking about human life, I'd agree. But we aren't. These people aren't human. These people don't deserve to breathe. And I'm kinda tired of pretending otherwise. I don't give a shit about decorum anymore, not where these people are concerned. They don't give a shit about human life, so I don't give a shit about theirs. If that's gross or cold or psycho or whatever, okay. Fine. I guess that's what it is. But I'm just not sure how to see it any other way anymore. "Fix Your Hearts or Die"

I weep for America and what your country has become.
I saw something on Reddit today and it struck a nerve with the current, constant mind fuck of events and incidents going on.
"Each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow. You don't want to act, or even talk, alone; you don't want to 'go out of your way' to make trouble. Why not?--Well, you are not in the habit of doing it. And is not just fear, fear of standing alone, that restrains you; it is also genuine uncertainty.
...
But the one great shocking occasion, when tens or hundreds or thousands will join with you, never comes. That's the difficulty. If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and smallest, thousands, yes, millions would have been sufficiently shocked-if, let us say, the gassing of the Jews in '43 had come immediately after the 'German Firm' stickers on the windows of non-Jewish shops in '33. But of course this isn't the way it happens. In between come all the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you not to be shocked by the next. Step A is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D. "

Not to mention this why when for example they make an AI video of a colonized gaza it is terrifying. That's one straight out of the nazi playbook. Joke about about it and normalize the evil to prepare people for it.

And I'd just like to add that the only people who support this are losers who never had any real problems; because if you have ever really struggled you realize that we have a lot worth protecting. But people who never go outside like Burt are like fuck this everyone is too woke and I'm just sitting around getting more resentful and inept so let's burn it to the ground because I saw a meme on twitter. Same with Bammer, just a dumb guy with a totally fortunate life who probably had his phone bill go up one day and then saw a fake story about a drag show with all black guys in it and was like fuck this I'm not taking this shit anymore.

Currently thinking about times I spent driving along the great lakes in Minnesota. Duluth is such a cool city... There is a possibility I never visit again which is hard to wrap my head around.

Lived in and near Minnesota for a long time. Spent a lot of time in Duluth. My best friend still lives there. Shameful, miserable state this country is in. Feeling more hopeless by the day.

How can you look at a picture of Renee Good and not want to cry? How can you watch that video and say she deserved it? She gives the impression of being a good person.

She is the lowest form of life: a libtard.

Unfortunately, when you are ignorant and in power , you get killed.
Unfortunately, when you are beautiful and in power , ya get killed
Unfortunately, our time is short for all scenarios
I’m just happy to say. I’m alive today
And Trump has not got me yet

Keep in mind they sent ICE to Minneapolis to escalate tensions there in the first place... Smart people saying the plan might be for trump to launch the insurrection act when it gets worse to cancel the midterm election.

The fact this thread is not packed with discussion is creeping me out in general. Have people stopped posting because they are afraid of repercussions?
