Since I now find myself squarely in the demographic that’s targeted day in and day out by the Outrage Machine (white male over 40), it’s fucking laughable how moronic the people who fall for that shit are. I was at the club in 2003 too and we all freaked every time Get Low played, but THIS is the end of western civilization? Get real.

Anyone who gives a shit about the super bowl halftime show, one way or another, should feel deeply embarrassed.

The patron Saint of embarrassing behavior has spoken. Lock 'er up.

What was there to talk about? Easily the most boring Super Bowl in this century between two remarkably unspectacular teams. The halftime show and the Dunkin commercial were the only bright spots on an otherwise horrific affront to everything that once made this country great.

My brother, give me punishing defense all day long. That is football.

Doesn’t hurt when it’s your team dominating.

We were talking about the possibility of a shutout.

Defensive football rules.

That game was not a defensive exhibition. It was two terrible offenses. But I get how the NFL needs to spin it. The real heads know. Literally the Seattle kicker was the actual MVP. The kicker!

That halftime show was the only thing that was good or interesting or fun about that entire event.

As a Vikings’ fan, I’d take a controversial safety for a 2-0 win so I get where you’re coming from, but I did not think I was seeing greatness in any aspect of the game. I think part of my problem is I need stars. These teams don’t have them. Njigba will be. Maye might be. Neither moved the needle this weekend.

Anyway, my son’s favorite band is Alice In Chains. This afternoon he was walking the dog, and my wife drove past. His Bluetooth jumped from his headphones to her car and he was listening to Bad Bunny. That’s kind of sweet.

It was this season’s 3rd and 8th overall ranked offenses facing off.

But I guess not everyone can be the 21st ranked Chiefs.
