it's the same down here in awssie (all cider = alcoholic)

I still wanna try an apple cider donut really badly.

Apple Juice and Apple Cider are two VERY different things. They're both non alcoholic beverages made from apples, but that's where the similarities begin and end.

Sometimes I cook my pork chops with a few splashes of apple cider in the pan.

We have pork loin in the crock pot for dinner tonight. I will be having cider with my meal.

I don't even want to think about how many hours of my youth were spent watching reruns of that show, doug. I could probably quote the entire dialog of each episode at some point.

and I always associate it with the kool-aid 'oh, yeah' commercials and the old honey comb cereal commercials.
