As a solo acoustic piece you'd have to give it more space or it wouldn't do the arrangement justice, in my opinion. And I'm sitting my doctorate in Ween this year so my opinion is pretty weighty. Sayin'.

Get an acoustic and then save for an electric. You should really aim towards having both. We should electronically collaborate for a few covers, Devin.

Acoustic always seems like the easy choice for a first guitar but most people fail to realize that they are a lot harder on the fingers than an electric. And also a cheap acoustic is MUCH harder to play than a cheap electric. If you're gonna buy an acoustic don't fall into the sub-$200 trap. The guitar will most likely suck and make you hate learning. You can get a decent used one in that range though.
First ween song to learn on acoustic should be Buenos Tardes Amigo

Have any of you sick freaks seen the new Ween bootleg?
Can you post the setlist? I don't have an acct. there, and I'll only create one if I really have to.

I missed this post last year.
Nah, I'm not huge on Moistboyz. Ween are like an old friend; I only ever find myself reaching for the classics.

Ween is one of my all time favorite bands. I've been to about 10 shows, every one fantastic.

Also on Browntracker right now is a new complete B-sides collection, a clean rip of the "Live Brain Wedgie" LP and new rips of all their early cassettes.

In my opinion Dean is what makes ween. The moistboyz are tops. I'm kind of intrigued by dean's new solo project that's in the works.
