I really like this show. Ep 3 was cool

Seriously though, that was an unhinged response by Stewart’s mom. Did the Laura Linney Guardian brainwash her or something?

I dont quite like Hal Jordan´s portrait here, he kinda feels like Guy Gardner.....he was drunk and in a titty bar when he kindapped that drug lord? sometimes feels pretty off.

The time jumps were a little jarring, but I really liked Ep3.

I have no pre-conceived idea of Hal's personality, so I don't care if he's a little off the rails. The show's doing a great job of showing how the suppressed emotions that made the ring choose him turned out to be a liability.

Just like with Jean Grey in the last Spider-Man I'm not sure the writers understand their victims are actually psychotic villains but I'll go with it.

When Geoff Johns was writing GL and bringing Hal back to hero status he showed how each lantern worked their ring



I liked how they showed john making his fathers watch which is along those lines. not a big part of the story but a nice nod to the source material

We've seen him do much worse. It's fine.

the problem is the ring doesnt judge you if you are a great hero. it judges if you can overcome fear.

in the comics fear has a color and it is yellow. if you are a green lantern you can overcome fear if you are a yellow lantern (as sinestro will be) you have the ability to instill great fear

A person can be both unworthy and a great hero, but there's obviously an uncertainty to him that makes him a liability for the Guardians. They don't appear to want to punish him as much as insure against any damage he may do.

I know very little about the Green Lantern, but this looks good.

Last one was kinda boring. I still dont like this Hal Jordan.

I liked the Wunderhorse tune at the end.

Grant Morrison thinks the same. This Jordan is pretty weird.

Also we have four more left...four more hours...its getting a bit repetitive...

I’m REALLY enjoying this show in spite of the things I don’t like about it. I do not like how Hal is portrayed thus far but I think Chandler is the perfect guy to play him. The guy playing John is fucking spot on. I’d prefer some more ring slinging.

I think we’ve already seen the Manhunter, but none of us know who it is.

yeah Chandler is great, his character is far off from any Jordan we know. Pierre is also great.

I’m hoping Hal ends up being Hal by the end of this thing.

I remember Hal being an asshole. Also he committed space genocide.

But I'm more interested in whether the character they built for this show is well-formed and compelling, and he really is. He clearly has some damage and insecurity, and the way he plays off Stewart is so fun
