Youtube embedding trips over itself when the link you're using is part of a playlist. Be it a favorites list, history list etc. Searching the song out independently will give you a clean link to embed. I don't know why but it is what it is...

Did you think much of Team Sleep?

Also, Koi No Yokan is my favorite Deftones album. At first I was hesitant to heap such praise as it hadn't the opportunity to settle. Its been long enough and it still slays.

ah, thanks! i couldn't figure out the problem.. good to know for future reference

when Team Sleep came out, i really liked it.... i probably overplayed it... i still go back every now and then to listen to it, but i've definitely softened on it (a few tracks are still killer though).

i'm liking crosses, but not as much as i liked Team Sleep... but i'm still in the exploration phase with them, so it could change.

I was really pleased with Koi No Yokan, but i haven't quite settled on where it fits in... it's in the upper part of the catalogue for sure, just not sure where.

Quite liked the layered vocals and guitar work here. The latter didn't over indulge which is nice.

Spending a bit of time with that first "Night Terrors.." song. Its well executed but, through no fault of its own, reminds me too much of that band Train. Train is a colossally shitty band.

I only know a few songs by Train, but the ones I've heard are unbelievably awful. Night Terrors remind me a lot of Passion Pit though, especially Dust & Bones.

She's actually a really good writer, but I've heard that in the fecal-literary community she's not very highly regarded. She has a reputation for being a bit of a "hipster," if you will.

Far too fickle for my tastes, and tends to favor the new shit.

I heard at this point he's just using laxatives 24/7 to up his output. That strikes me as a very misleading way to produce new material, but some people will just convince themselves they like anything he releases.
