I know we're speculating because we don't know exactly how they're going to handle this yet, but I still hate this type of approach when it comes to these things. EVERY time I've had a problem with a record I've had to offer 0 proof to get it replaced. I've simply tweeted or emailed the record company and within a reasonable amount of time they've simply asked for my address and sent me a new copy. No artwork involved, just a new disc in a white sleeve. Perfect. The only time I've ever been asked to take time out of my day to go wait in line in at the post office for them to fix their mistake it was with the Ten Club.

In general I would agree, save for the fact that PJ albums and eBay enjoy coitus and this would seem to be the perfect aphrodisiac.

Yup.

Though, on the plus side, every other year they send me an extra Christmas single for some reason.

i got mine today, nice 9 days after release.
skip in getaway, and major skip in sirens, song doesnt even play through. Havent tried side 2 yet.

Is it by any chance bad enough that you can see the defect in the record? Or does it look good but just play bad

Mine was a damaged gatefold package.

Just part of the next ten club scheme. Assuring everyone opens their copy to "test" it so they can do a limited edition rerelease later on for the "keep it sealed" crowd.

on mine you can definately see some flaws, almost look like very small, repeated scuffs across the record.

replacements are going through directly with manufacturer. I dont see how they can justify charging for shipping.

I ordered the day they went on pre-sale. So now I went from pre-album excitement, to disappointment that I'm waiting weeks for a defective album that's going right back in the mail.

Since i can't listen to mine yet Im gonna give it a good look over to see if anything looks wrong
