i'm not a fan of joaquin phoenix, but I know he's a good actor. every movie i see him in I think - oh, it's joaquin phoenix again. kills any enjoyment I'd have otherwise. (and if it helps my argument any, I have the exact same reaction to dustin hoffman.)
