But the seats behind the stage won’t be used. It’s a massive place, but it won’t be more than 80.000 (if they sell out)
Shit. I bet they still signed on for a $3,000,000 guarantee for that place, at least...possibly $4,000,000, given their current ticket prices.
(note: the number of subscribers to your fanclub can play a huge role in driving up your guarantee figure...maybe they should make a video or something to promote the fanclub)
It's gotta be so easy to be their tour manager at this point. It probably just looks a lot like this:
Step One: Announce tour. Bonus: this is mostly someone else's job anyway!
Step Two: Do a lot of this
Step Three: Stock up on items in Ed's backstage requirements list so promoters won't use them to drive future guarantees down

So far these are the top of my list as well.
how close are they?
I'm going to cut you.
About 15 hours by train

i dont know these thing
you just tell me where we are putting in tickets for and ill do it

Still a few things I'm trying to work out. I might have a trade show during the Berlin and Vienna dates so that may not work...
Is it feasible to take a train Vienna to Berlin? Or Stockholm to Oslo?
Those combos would be my first choice and second choice, but no day off in between sucks.
As a result, I may be leaning towards Trieste and Vienna.
Is there a Kayak or Orbitz type site for Euro train travel?

According to Google you can train/bus it from show to show but it's not at all a direct route.

Less than an hour drive from where I am.
Oh this is going to make illumineddie's day. The venue is next door to a WW2 extermination camp.

we have been planning to make a trip for a while, just not sure where, and this will help us make our decision

i think Italy will be our first choice for where to go if PJ wasnt there, but that might not work out because we have other family wanting to go as well and that time of year might not work, so if it ends up being just me and Chloe then we will pick another location to go visit

Has anybody been the MK Bowl? That'd be the cheapest to get to for me, but I dunno if I'd like the outdoor, no reserved seating vibe. My standing-for-two-hours-in-a-crowd days are behind me.
However, it looks like it's actually cheaper for me to get a flight to Amsterdam than a train to Leeds. Hmm...

What cities will be the "tough tickets" and what cities will be the "easy tickets?"

Leeds will be 'toughest' as its the smallest venue. Wulheide next most difficult.
The rest are effing stadiums so you'll have no trouble.

Euro flights are fucked up!!! It's cheapest for me to fly to Vienna then to Stockholm and then back home. 1 way flights are more expensive. Standard round trips are more expensive too. I think I'm going to put in for Vienna and Stockholm.

Leeds is the only one that looks like it will work for us, hope i don't strike out
Is Leeds likely to get a 2nd show?

For Domestic flights the cheapest period is typically 6 weeks before you leave. That's when I got Chicago and Seattle flights this year and I can say that Chicago was at it's cheapest then.
What's your magic price? I'm not sure what's a good price. Scranton to Vienna to Stockholm to Scranton is $1,600. I thought that was a decent price, but I've really never priced any Euro flights other than Ireland.

Can i ask - if you win tickets, but then find out you can't make it - are the tickets normal tickets that are resellable to other fans?
Also - do you HAVE to buy a pair? Can you just buy one ticket?
I'm the only person i know who would pay £75 to see pearl jam...
