I haven't revisited it since it came out but I really enjoyed Peace. It takes a while to get under your skin, but once it does it's really solid. Saw them live last fall and it was good. I actually saw Kyuss open for White Zombie back in 95 but I was waaaay too young to appreciate them the way I do now, so it was cool to hear some of the old Kyuss tunes.

Still listening to it regularly while driving, still great.

This popped up on youtube a couple days ago:

"Here's our crusty little ACROSS THE RIVER demo tape we made in 1985! I'd misplaced it for years, but just found my copy, and got it laid into the computer on the first pass before all the oxide crumbled off! I've been listening to a lot of Kyuss lately.....Garcia is a limited singer...maybe even a bad singer, but they do him no favors in the mix....either's he's way out front with a boring vocal melody and the driest mic ever to accentuate his flaws....or when he comes up with a cool melody and they put some effects on his voice it's buried way down...you can barley hear him on Whitewater and that's one song I want to hear him on!
