At this point, he's probably tricked his brain into a level of certainty that he actually did, though....cutuphalfdead wrote:Dave A didn't drum on Ten though...
And I'm just telling you what is on the award, Pete. Don't get testy with me.cutuphalfdead wrote:I'm just stating a fact.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Heh. You think it is fake?cutuphalfdead wrote:Dave A didn't drum on Ten though...

Rare!!! Award to Pearl Jam presented to the drummer at the time, Dave Abbruzzese, CERTIFIED (RIAA) Diamond award in recognition of 12 million in sales of his work on debut album Ten.
What work did he do on Ten?presented to the drummer at the time, Dave Abbruzzese, CERTIFIED (RIAA) Diamond award in recognition of 12 million in sales of his work on debut album Ten
I'm guessing they had this trophy made up at the time and didn't realize they had the wrong guy. So it sat in a closet until some dude found it and thought he could get some cash for it. I just messaged him and offered him 10 bucks plus shipping for it explaining to him what we are talking about here.Rangi Guy wrote:What work did he do on Ten?presented to the drummer at the time, Dave Abbruzzese, CERTIFIED (RIAA) Diamond award in recognition of 12 million in sales of his work on debut album Ten

That was my thought too. I sure hope the guy takes me up on my ten dollar offer, though. That would be sweet in my Pearl Jam room/walk-in closet.Birds in Hell wrote:I don't remotely know how these things work but it wouldn't surprise me if the award was legitimate, I can easily imagine a scenario where they just make up an award for each member of the band without giving it further thought. They probably won plenty of these kind of things for Ten, I doubt they were mailing them to Dave Krusen every time.
I don't know if that matters. There are a lot of Ten-Vitalogy remasters out there signed by Matt Cameron.cutuphalfdead wrote:Dave A didn't drum on Ten though...
Well this one would be from 2003 as this is when it was certified 12x platinum. What's also suspicious is that they would qualify for this thing already in 1999 when they started giving the diamond awards out.Birds in Hell wrote:I don't remotely know how these things work but it wouldn't surprise me if the award was legitimate, I can easily imagine a scenario where they just make up an award for each member of the band without giving it further thought.
