Yeah, Drive is good. Not great. Helped tremendously by just absurdly great performances. Really looking forward to seeing what OGF looks like.
If it's as good as Kickboxer, I'm in.durdencommatyler wrote:Really looking forward to seeing what OGF looks like.
Whoa, settle down there, Orson! Nothing. And I mean nothing is as good as Kickboxer.Harry Lime wrote:If it's as good as Kickboxer, I'm in.durdencommatyler wrote:Really looking forward to seeing what OGF looks like.

Ya mean, this YouTube function?Mirella wrote:maybe someone can fix/add that YouTube function again
I heard one (cover) song by Filter and one by U2 (I think). I really liked those. Edit; that was Jack White covering U2. Even betterdimejinky99 wrote:Was looking forward to the great gatsby. Now heard that Jay z is doing the soundtrack. No thanks.
yes, so it uses the whole link now and not just that tiny code. Thanks.durdencommatyler wrote:Ya mean, this YouTube function?Mirella wrote:maybe someone can fix/add that YouTube function again

Ellis strikes me as a complete horse's ass. Though Palahniuk always seemed like a douche until I met him. He was pretty fucking gracious in person.Harry Lime wrote:VinylGuy wrote:we need to put this one in this thread....im actually a big fan of Bret Easton Ellis, and Schrader is a great director, but this one doesnt have a chance.
I auditioned for this last year via Let it Cast. I'm not saying my acting chops are the best, but man I expected more out of myself. I couldn't stand watching myself in my audition tape. I was so bad. I hated myself.
Then I watched this trailer about a month ago, and listened to the actors (James Deen for christ sake) recite the dialogue, and then realized how intentionally bad it is. Or maybe Ellis wrote a pile of shit and didn't realize it was a pile shit until his actors performed it. Anyway, I didn't feel so bad afterwards, because I was trying to perform dialogue that was generic and awful.
Anyway, the more I look into Easton Ellis, the more I'm turned off by him and his sex-obsessed youth culture in southern california. And does anyone read the man's tweets? Either he pushes buttons to be playful or he's just a flat out insufferable asshole.
