Just My Imagination is one of those songs that seems like just another ordinary love song when you're a kid, but then when you get older and you actually live through the experience they're singing about you realize how unbelievably spot-on and profound it is.

I Can't Get Next to You is the first Temptations song I fell in love with. I NEVER get sick of it. Such a funky intro. Great lyrics too. I love "I can build a castle from a single grain of sand."

I'm a toe dipper with The Temptations and motown. Got some nice comps plus a couple of Supremes albums but that's about it.

But that film is a must see.

I think the most striking thing, especially with Paul and David, is the pain in their voices even while singing upbeat numbers.

One of the best moments of the entire film is a couple of them recounting one of the most recognizable riffs in the history of music.
