It's gotta be. Imagine how sad the people of Pearl Jam would be if their dogs all ran away because they had no collars to attach their leashes to.

Think of all of the "My dog ran away, please play Speed of Sound in Philadelphia!" threads there would be on the Pit were it not for the collars.
