Man, if I still had my gamecube I'd be dueling with bokoblins and outsmarting moblins this very instant.
Bio 2 kicks fucking ass. Just as immersive as before. Some people bum out at how linear it feels early on. Don't be one of those people. Its great.dkfan9 wrote:i think i'll start on bioshock 2 soon
My stepson has a gamecube, and just bought one at a yard sale for a backup. He's had all the new shit but still plays the Gamecube the most.washing machine II wrote:Man, if I still had my gamecube I'd be dueling with bokoblins and outsmarting moblins this very instant.

I'm leaning in that direction. I think I'll play through Dishonored one more time without killing anyone or getting noticed before I destroy Sackboy and Fat Princess.Soma. wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale?
No, I didn't..Soma. wrote:No... no! Did you even watch the video? The point is its garbage. Play Bioshock 2.
Patience young grasshopper. I'm using a lot of Blink and Dark Vision to sneak around. It also helps I save every 5 minutes.BurtReynolds wrote:I had difficulty with Dishonored, but it was my fault. I always play stealthy when given the choice, and try to get the undetected and no-kill achievements. Dishonored makes this murderously hard, though. You will be seen and attacked. You can't use most of the gadgets either.
Once I let go of this obsession, it was a lot more fun. 'Blink' should be in every game!
thats the thing. I was saving/reloading more than i was playing (i was also on a harder difficulty). i hated it. Once i stopped and just lived with my mistakes, i got more out of it.Monkey_Driven wrote:Patience young grasshopper. I'm using a lot of Blink and Dark Vision to sneak around. The strength of the game is the variety of ways in which you can play. It's fun to play around with all the ways you kill or sneak by a guy.BurtReynolds wrote:thats the thing. yeah. It would be cool if they added gas grenades or nonlethal traps next time, to add more variety if you choose to play Batman-style. Choking out people got pretty repetitive after awhile, especially when you are loaded down with bullets, razortraps and grenades that you cant use.Monkey_Driven wrote:The strength of the game is the variety of ways in which you can play. I agree they should have added more ways to injure without killing. The proof of concept is here though with this first installment. If they do continue to make Dishonored games (which I hope they do) I can see the developers really fleshing the story and gameplay out to make a deeper experience.BurtReynolds wrote:yeah. I did plan on playing again in full murderfest mode, but probably won't.
I want to play around with one for an extended period of time, but I don't want to get one until there are more games out for it. I've bought every Nintendo console, but the pull isn't there right now.E.H. Ruddock wrote:So, no one else with kids playing the Wii U?
I kinda stalled out on my violent playthrough, mostly cause I kinda hate the Flooded District mission. The game is much more fun to play stealthily, IMO. Still a pretty great game.Monkey_Driven wrote:The strength of the game is the variety of ways in which you can play.
