Most live versions of No Way suck and I still voted for it over Animal.

Insignificance.
Best PJ song of the Matt Cameron era.

Agreed. And, worthy of winning this whole thing.

I love Angel so much. It genuinely hurts to vote against it. But I'm a man of honor. And Insignificance is the better song.

Look, Angel is great and all but Insignificance is top tier Pearl Jam of all era's.

Absolutely. No reason why Insignificance shouldn't be in the elite 8, if not the final 4.

Insignificance vs Grievance vs. Sleight of Hand = Binaural for the win

I will be surprised if any Binaural song makes it to the final 8

Sleight of Hand and Insignificance both have a real shot. And deserve to be there.

those are the two that have the best shot, but iirc, everything post 2000 got destroyed by the 90s tidal wave in the best of tournament.
That was a few years ago, though

There's plenty of Binaural songs that deserve to be in contention. Insignificance, as I said before, should win the whole thing.

I don't get the Insignificance love.
I love Binaural, but think Insignificance is middle of the road on that album. Sleight of Hand, Rival, Grievance, Parting Ways, Of the Girl, Breakerfall,- these are all tunes that I seek out more. A good live performance of Insignificance is killer, but the album cut never really did anything special for me.

I think there is no single song that suffers more in the transition from studio to live than insignificance. The studio version is vastly superior--the explosive claustrophobic dynamics of the song seem to be impossible to replicate.

That's because Pearl Jam can't handle playing it live.

The versions from the 2000 tour are great.

there have never been any real standouts that I recall.
