I anticipate that this will be pretty good - maybe even great - but not incredible. I expect that the performances will be excellent but it comes down to the songs.

I'm hoping for news on his new album any day now. From what I originally remember reading over at onewhiskey, he planned to finish writing and recording it in Jan/Feb. And yeah I remember reading that he was working with Alain again (I'm hoping Mike Johnson, too)

Given the state of the music industry, why don't little supergroups like this get together in their garage and put it out on the internet as a pay-what-you-want model? Or even the $6 torrent tracks like Thom Yorke?

I feel like there are a lot of bands out there that could benefit from this model but I don't see enough accepting it.
