Wild Flag helped me get over my Sleater-Kinney withdrawals. But now I'm jonesing like crazy for more Wild Flag, and I blame Portlandia.

I think there was one other joke toward PJ in Portlandia lol, I can only assume its because shes such good friends with them, and they all seem to not take themselves seriously, that she knows she can make the joke, without anyone in PJ getting mad

Just a lil heads up... someone contacted me recently about a lil compilation that I put together with the help of some great SK fans years ago... it was oh I dont know, 8 discs, and contained, oh, just about one version of every single original they played live? (That we could find anyway was a couple songs that never showed up like Leave You Behind) anyway
he contacted me about it, and wondered if it was still available anywhere? which from what I know, it died with the SK.net site 5 years ago or so... so, im in the process of sending him the files and hes goign to upload them somewhere, possible archive.org not sure yet, but once he gets them up and running somewhere, Ill let you all know...

and for anyone who downloaded the old version? I did update the Woods discs... I removed the songs with Pearl Jam from the end, and replaced them with alternate takes
on the main set I had used Lets Call It Love / Night Light. so I replaced the PJ/SK tracks, with Lets Call It Love / Entertain, and Night Light live as its own track which they did a few times. and I removed the songs that were taken from The Woods dvd as the sound on those always bothered me, and replaced them with other versions.

so yeah... sometime soon, it should be back up on the net somewhere in some form...

I spoke with Janet recently, and she expressed how much fun the Wild Flag record was. When I asked if they'd do another one, she said she very much hoped so. The first few times I met her she was kinda mean, but last time she helped me sweep up my space after they finished shooting, so she's 100% solid in my book now.

update last I heard.... he was trying to contact someone in the SK camp to get clearance to post the set... so yeah... waiting
