Both of these songs are too narcissistic, so I voted for Pendulum.

btw has anyone heard the VS outtake of this? I can't remember if I have and I wonder if there is much of a difference.
I wonder if it's the same recording or if they re-recorded it. The italian site leans towards a re-record but it wouldn't surprise me. I may take a listen to the drum sounds of the 2 albums when I get the chance and also dig out that VS outtakes disc.stip wrote:Not much iircLetMeSleep wrote:Whipping. I was thinking about my personal top 10 overrated songs and realized half of the list was yieldcutuphalfdead wrote:for sureLament wrote:Pendulum is quickly becoming the most overrated song in the catalog (in my opinion).
It seems there are quite a few likers out there. Whenever I have voiced my dislike it seems to garner quite a reaction.stip wrote:Is wishlist that highly rated, though? Man of the hour certainly is
this is kind of a dumb critique. Of course what people like about pendulum is its dark and moody feel. What people like about Blood or go is its loud aggression. What people like about sleight of hand is its lost and lonesome feel. That's the point of the song. People like it because they feel it is executed well.Birds in Hell wrote:But it's so dark! Ed even sings about feeling "down so low", it gives the song a real...you know...down and low vibe.
Dark and moody.
Ugh.
Whipping, clearly.
Pendulum and Got Some are like if Radiohead decided to regain their status as "that awesome band that did Creep," but each record had a single conciliatory track featuring a few bleeps, bloops, or moments of tape loop. And people were just cradling those subpar little moments in their loving arms, crooning along to "don't laugh at me guys stop laughing at me it's a good line really" poopfarts like "My shadow left me long ago," because what else is left to you to do?stip wrote:this is kind of a dumb critique. Those other songs you mentioned have style and substance. Pendulum only has one of those things.stip wrote:this is kind of a dumb critique.
