It has a subpar beginning. It turns people off before the song takes off.

It turns me off because it's flat and the lyrics don't do anything for me. It has a cheesiness that I think is fine for a country rock act like Garth Brooks, but it rubs me the wrong way coming from PJ.

Fact, I'd love to hear Garth give that thing a fiddle and a yodel and go to town. Flying around the arena with an acoustic guitar that he isn't even strumming could be just what that song needs.

That's what kills it for me. It's a terribly grating and sleazy sounding intro.

yeah, it was a poor decision. From the first chorus on it's just an incredible song
