I think Faithfull is one of the best things they've ever done. I wouldnt mind seeing it win the whole thing, its just that good.

I listened to yield this morning. You could take almost any negative critique of Amongst the Waves, replace the titles, and it would describe how I feel about this song. I don't think the music is that interesting, the chorus is a little too judgmental and self-righteous for me, and Eddie sounds like someone is holding his nose while he sings.

Good lyrics in the verse and outro, though. And it's still better than inside job. It's not that I think faithfull is a bad song. I just find it completely unremarkable

I was reminded of how much I love given to fly and wishlist, though.

I think maybe even more than S/T, Yield is an album full of towering moments surrounded by what feels to me like inconsequential filler

I like a few other songs, but then again I like some songs on Yield that aren't given to fly, do the evolution, wishlist, and brain of J (although that one doesn't grab me like it used to)
