MFS is great.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

Not sure why some people on here love Riot Act so much but don't have a soft spot for MFS... it would've fit perfectly on Riot Act. Maybe their best song post-RA?

MFS is, I think, one of the stronger songs to come out of the last three albums. But Small Town is an all time favorite. One of the stronger songs to come out of their entire career.

To me, it sounds like something that would've been born out of the Yield sessions. Its got a bit of Push Me/Pull Me and Brain of J to it.bluestate wrote:Not sure why some people on here love Riot Act so much but don't have a soft spot for MFS... it would've fit perfectly on Riot Act. Not really. I don't hear the RA connection at all. So I have no clue what you're talking about.bluestate wrote:Not sure why some people on here love Riot Act so much but don't have a soft spot for MFS... it would've fit perfectly on Riot Act. I come from a genius, I am my father's son
Yeah, too bad he was a psychopath and now I'm the next in line
Forget the insemination
And for that, I'm supposed to be glad?
Why such betrayal?
I gotta set sail
Now father you're dead and gone
And I'm finally free to be me
Thanks for all your fucked-up gifts
For which I got no sympathy

You say, "Son, lets forget the past"
I want another chance, gonna make it last
Youre begging me for a brand new start
Trying to mend a bridge thats been blown apart
But you know...
