It's real and a friend of mine picked up two from Newbury Comics. She's sending me one for Easter.

Although, as always, I wonder whether people would prefer pearl jam not making non-essential stuff that no one would ever feel pressured to buy because a portion of their fanbase clearly enjoys purchasing because another portion of the fanbase thinks this is inappropriate for some reason.

It would
feel a lot less inappropriate if Pearl jam's business model wasn't drawn up after watching Wayne's World.

I think a lot of people would be okay with it if they actually made enough to satisfy that entire portion of the fan base. Instead they produce these limited runs, which artificially inflate the prices because of such a limited supply.

makes for an interesting argument for the time Jack White sold the limited edition vinyls for really high prices so flippers couldn't

I don't even care if they limit the supply, but if they're going to send out an e-mail, there should be enough shit to still be available 24 hours later. If it's less than that, they should give them away in contests or randomly slip them into shipments to record stores.

I just poured Coke on my Ten LP remaster. It's the only one that exists in the world.

Don't sell it to Rangi, he's just gonna go on ebay and flip it for a profit.
