Now wouldn't that be something..? I'm really excited anyway but last nights show increased my levels of excitement quite a bit. Just picked up my tickets on Tuesday. Hopefully it's a memorable show.BigRedLedbetter wrote:Cough cough.......Yield front to back? Cough cough!!!!
Sorry. Coming down with something.
It's happened 3 times in 25 years. Last night was the first time in 8 years. Something like that won't happen for a while.PHATJ wrote:Now wouldn't that be something..? Curious where you live based on the shows you have attended? Are you the drunk guy who offered me $20 for my black Bulls Dennis Rodman jersey in Lincoln?mkay0 wrote:Shit, I'm going to St. Paul and I hope it doesn't happen.CopperTom wrote:It's happened 3 times in 25 years. I wasn't implying that I thought that they would play another full album again, I am just hoping for a great, memorable show. Something unexpected would be fun.CopperTom wrote:It's happened 3 times in 25 years. Last night was the first time in 8 years. Same. I don't think it will happen again for a long time. Who knows though.PHATJ wrote:I wasn't implying that I thought that they would play another full album again, I am just hoping for a great, memorable show. Or maybe it's a "make money with real estate and our lord savior" thing. I can't tell. But either way, be wary on the streets of St Paul tonight. It's not the body of Christ (or Juicy Lucys) they will be hungry for.

Go there people. Dont be an idiot.
It's the shirt I was wearing in several HS yearbook pics that our principal blacked out with a marker before it was distributed to students.Kaius wrote:Dare I ask what a Jucy Lucy is?
Pretty basic; it's a burger with cheese and spices in between the halves of the patty. About 5 years ago I tried the Lava Burger at this joint http://www.pecangrill.com/ in New Mexico, which is a similar concept but with a Southwestern twist and it was the best burger I have ever had (now number one is from a bar called "The Bird" in Berlin). I had it for lunch like 5 days in row afterwards and a little goggling turned up the term "Juicy Lucy", the St Paul version, which is the local specialty. Now I just gotta find the right local brew to mix with it. Summit Oktoberfest?Kaius wrote:Dare I ask what a Jucy Lucy is?
Jucy Lucy is culinary work of art and incredibly delicious. It is essentially a cheeseburger with the cheese inside of the meat, instead of on the top. So when you bite in, the cheese comes oozing out. Usually cooked on some very greasy "seasoned" grills. The twin cities has a few spots that are somewhat famous for them. Matt's Bar is a real dive but I think serves the best ones. The 5-8 club also serves them. A little more upscale and has a couple locations. I'm sure there are others, but those are the two I go with. Highly worth checking out if you are visiting.Kaius wrote:Dare I ask what a Jucy Lucy is?
The Oktoberfest is quite good this year. But we've had some other good locals pop up the past few years. The Indeed Oktoberfest (can't remember what they're calling it) is fantastic.broken iris wrote:Pretty basic; it's a burger with cheese and spices in between the halves of the patty. He got to see Bee Girl in Moline though. But I think he should still go for it.broken iris wrote:I will find him. What kind of local beer did you end up trying?broken iris wrote:Team, I walked by the venue earlier and there is some kind of "divorcees for Jesus against breast cancer" event going on the Xcel center.
