Hey folks,

So, I am in motion to work with the wishlist foundation pre party for this show. I have this idea, and can make it happen, of putting together a PJ cover band (lame I know but lets have fun, yea?) to play at Jacksons. The owner has already said he would setup a shuttle to and from the concert and tickets for the bar etc....depending on what kind of RSVP for the event. Was thinking of reaching out to the Wishlist foundation to get the pre party event there as well and combine all the fun. I could put a band together for fun and play before and after the show.

Does this sound like a fun idea or super fucking lame?

If it is the guys I usually play with, that is certainly happening.

I have a few cats to herd myself, but I think I can get a few of them to this cover band shindig. The closer to October the better I can see where my peeps are at.

Looking for some help from some locals. Looking for ideas of what to do the day of the show. We land around 11am, we have a car. I normally would go hang out in Breckenridge or Vail, but the time doesn't permit. We have a couple going with us thst hasn't been there before so we are looming for a scenic Colorado thing to do.
Was thinking maybe Pearl street in Boulder might be an option if the views are ok

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
If I were you I would definitely do the Pearl St. thing and while you are there, drive west to the end of Pearl St. to Settler's Park (less than a mile from the heart of Pearl St. Mall.) The hike is only 1/2 mile and you get to climb all over these red rocks, look out over the city and get a little feel for nature. It's part of the same vein of red rocks that runs down the front range to Morrison where the amphitheater is.

Quick, easy and beautiful.

Thanks Hatfield. I appreciate the response. You made the decision easy, Boulder is it.

Thanks again. Jeff

Good enough. How far is it from the venue?

About 4 blocks. Last I heard they were attempting to also set up a shuttle for everyone.

Cool. Are we looking at a sizable RM presence there? Seems like there 4 or 5 from the greater Denver area alone (I don't blame you, after 8 days there I was ready to abandon Death City and move)
