Nothing comes even close to this disaster. At the time it sure seemed like they would never be able to win it all. Thankfully that was proven wrong next year.

It was quite awesome that the Broncos got him what the Chiefs never could.BigRedLedbetter wrote:Hell yes Neil Smith!Green Habit wrote:http://www.jt-sw.com/football/boxes/index.nsf/Games/1996-post-div-jac-den

Fair. I can definitely say that after 20 years of ho-hum mediocrity, Boone was certainly the first stomach-punch 'worst day' and held that title for years. Certainly our generation's "Game 6."cutuphalfdead wrote:I don't give a shit about football.Simple Torture wrote:I see that and I raise you:cutuphalfdead wrote:
In a way, I was kind of glad the Patriots lost that game. I was at work pulling highlights of it for the morning news and had they won I would have had to stay later and do more work.Simple Torture wrote:Fair. Also Wakefield was incredible in that series.Simple Torture wrote:As soon as I heard that Kraft tried to trademark the phrase "the perfect season," I knew it wasn't going to end well. I guess that might be the difference--that Superbowl had some ominous signs leading up to it, while that ballgame was winnable from the 2nd inning.
