It would, but he's also the same guy that said he would have drafted Tim Tebow with a top ten pick.

That comment easily makes you worse than Tony Dungy.

Michael Sam is going to get tons of endorsement deals. You might not see him on TV commercials but he'll be in plenty of magazine ads and such, I'm sure (if he's not already).

I don't know if it's true or not that Tony Dungy wrote a book on parenting, but if he did, oh man...that's embarrassing.

No one said Tony Dungy was a good judge of talent.

Uh oh...
Can't say I blame Charles, but...the Chiefs' cap space is quite tight for this and next year, especially considering that Alex Smith and Justin Houston are pending free agents in 2015. If Charles gets paid, they may have to let either or both of them walk, or cut Tamba Hali (which they may have to do anyway).

Hope Pat Bowlen can stave off Alzheimer's as long as possible.

Rumors have been that he's been suffering from it for quite a few years now. He definitely looked quite out of it when he was handed the AFC Championship trophy--he didn't even speak and immediately handed it to Elway. Alzheimer's sucks. :(

I just read that Bowlen had a .604 winning percentage and only 5 losing seasons in 30 years. Is there another owner that has that bested? DeBartolo, maybe?

Under Kraft's ownership (1994-2014), the Patriots are 217-103 in the regular season (.678) with just two losing seasons, but with the Brady era winding down, I don't know if they can keep that clip up for another decade.

Gronk cleared to play. Not on the PUP list. Phew. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nf ... /13036417/

I don't think its coincidence that he would have drafted the Christian who can't play in the top ten who had his own distractions that he would have brought to any team, and not drafting a gay player. It's too bad that we really don't know if Michael Sam is any good because that would be a great cop-out if Dungy was indeed a bigot.

Dungy, hired by a PR firm, helped Vick and Locksley. He makes $$ based on his reputation as a healer, hence the outrage to his stupid comments.

Ray Rice, 2 games. So if you're scoring at home.... knock your girlfriend out at a table on camera, drag her thorough a casino/into and out of an elevator, 2 game suspension.

Smoke weed regularly... 4 game ban for the first offense.

Good job NFL, I'm sure women will be thrilled with your hollow pink month promotion this year.

It's kind of like the hypocrisy with MLB's suspension policy. If you get pulled over for drunk driving where you could possibly kill another human being (or yourself -- Josh Hancock), you get nothing. If you get caught with amphetamines, you get 25 games.

At least for this one, it affects the 'integrity' of the game whereas the DUI doesn't - in the NFL's eyes.

I was ranting about a current lack of suspension for Greg? Hardy at the end of the offseason thread. WTF, NFL.

I'd be afraid that someone would be more likely to sit on it because of the ropes. At any rate, this is cool.
