The camera work is one of its major strengths.E.H. Ruddock wrote:I feel like the camera work will end up pissing me off.
I'm so there dude. This guy is a great director but I've been waiting for him to loosen up a bit and this seems like it did the trick.durdencommatyler wrote:Holy. Shit. Released almost exactly 15 years to the day, this is the best film I've seen since Fight Club. It was a revelation. Completely brilliant. The performance of Keaton's career. Norton hasn't been this good in a decade. Just fucking marvelous. I want to see it again and again. Truly, literally, awesome.
Wow.
Oh man oh man. You're gonna crap yourself. If you don't love this movie, I'll be shocked. Please give us your thoughts once you've seen it.Orpheus wrote:I'm so there dude. It's a limited release right now. It's not playing by me yet.EJ wrote:I want to see this too. It seems DCT is the only one on this board who's seen this movie. Is it just a limited release or lack of interest here?
My attitude just reflects my interest level based on what I know about the movie, Innaritu, and my own taste. But, of course, I will watch it with the same even-handedness I go into every movie with.durdencommatyler wrote:If you're gonna go in with THAT attitude, don't bother. Sheesh.

There he is! Good man.
I've only seen 21 Grams and Babel, which I adored and really liked (respectively). I gather you're not a fan of his other work?
