It's kinda sad knowing that if you stick around long enough, you are going to suck, and be unable to get it back again.

That doesn't hold true for everyone. Just most people.

I refuse to count that as a legitimate J Geils album. If it doesn't have Peter Wolf sing, it's not J Geils.

Same goes for Blind Melon. PunkDavid probably would have posted Soup.

I don't consider anything after Ten to be a real Pearl Jam album. Pearl Jam will always be Stone, Jeff, Mike, Ed, and Dave Krusen to me..

RIP Pearl Jam.

You know who was in the band for that last album? J. Geils. ;)

The Clash's last album

was better than the Clash's last album.

But that doesn't mean the Clash's last album isn't their last album. Ya dig?

That's some "Immortality is Vitalogy's closer"-level logic, accuser.

Say what you will about this record, but This is England is one of the VERY BEST things to bear The Clash's name. Possibly the greatest set of lyrics Joe ever wrote.

I could never get fully into this album. Dig some of the songs but I like the 2 before that MUCH more overall

Outside of the three live albums I think this is their most consistent. The only other one that comes close for consistency is Love Stinks. They weren't a great studio band.
