This album has been recorded as an analogue album. It was recorded on 2 inch 24 track analogue tape and mixed onto half inch analogue tape and mastered with no digital processing involved.

Really thrilled to see the 24 bit WAVs available.

It went down again, of course.

May not get a chance to listen til later, but I'm encouraged by the confused reception the album appears to be getting on the MBV forum I just checked out.

I'd be terrified if people thought it was "classic MBV!", "a logical follow-up to Loveless", etc. A few fans seem to really dislike it.

15 pounds for a download seems a bit steep. I'll just wait till they can get some records in the shops out here I reckon.

It is a bit, particularly since it's not scaled down if you bought the MP3s, but it's not a bad price for 24/96 files (which is what I went for.)
