i think i liked part 1 better as well, but even while watching it i felt there was no way to sustain that kind of show beyond a couple of episodes.

I get what you're doing, but I still feel the need to say that I don't usually say that sort of thing.
And I loved the first hour of this show, especially before he meets the woman. Great, very funny stuff.

Didn't care for it much. It glossed over all the parts I thought would be interesting : being thrown into isolation, traveling the country, dealing with few amenities, the psychological toll and so on. I suppose the way they are doing it makes more sense for a prime time comedy.
