I didn't quite laugh out loud. But I smiled broadly

Cameron Crowe or Steve Gleason is my guess. I can't see Neil Young doing it. I'm sure BoB wants to do it.
It'll be Michael Stipe or Bono

who else will be eligible that year?

Outside of Dave A. (potentially), I could see the band wanting to include all former drummers... No?
Think of it this way, all members of Pearl Jam will attend the ceremony if which drummer(s) are inducted? Some members (Eddie) of Pearl Jam would skip the ceremony if which drummer is inducted?

It's a real no brainer from a RRHoF business perspective. You won't anger your golden goose for the evening.
I'm not sure they always defer to the artist's wishes; the RRHoF didn't include Chad Channing when Nirvana were inducted even though he seems on great terms with everyone and they seemingly wanted him to be.

Channing said he heard the news via a text message sent to Nirvana's management: "Can you tell whoever looks after Chad Channing that he isn’t being inducted… It is just Dave, Krist and Kurt."

I can't see Dave A or even Dave K being left out. PJs main public eye years/albums feature those guys.

I can easily see Dave K going the way of Chad Channing; he was already out of the band by the time they really found success.

Cliff Martinez and Jack Irons were inducted with RHCP recently however, so who knows.

Maybe but Dave K played on Ten. And everyone slobbers over Ten's privates.

You should probably look at the people who participated in all the anniversary hoopla, and assume it'll be one of them.

Chris Cornell would be nice. He has lots of history with the band. They'd probably love Neil Young, though I'm not a fan of when an older generation artist inducts a younger artist.

I have it on good authority that based on the strength of chud's best man speech last weekend, he will be inducting Pearl Jam into the RRHOF.
