There is just no way that these people are able to complete their tasks in the allotted time. For example on GGG you have 20 minutes to shop for all your ingredients, cook, and plate? No way. Time given must be edited for tv. I suspect they actually have more time.

Also on Restaurant Impossible they remodel for only $10,000? Bullshit. That doesn't count labor costs.

Other than that I generally enjoy cooking (competition) shows.

Anyone else watch shows on the Tastemade channel? It's great. They've got great cooking and food shows without competitions or flashy shit. Watching one on fermented foods around the world right now

Had no idea I got this channel until now bc the logo is so tiny in the channel guide that I couldn’t read it. I’ll check it out
