I've never heard of that band Pete, but i'll check em out!

I loved the hissing Fauna record from of Montreal, but hated the follow up, so it doesnt always go to plan i guess..

Enjoying Pearl Jam radio, lots of Vitalogy. Heard Tremor Christ twice.

Whenever I start wondering why I ever loved Pearl Jam so much, I put on Vitalogy and remember in about fifteen seconds.

For getting fired right at the end of the album, it probably has the best studio drumming of any Pearl Jam release. If it takes a great studio performance to get fired, Matt is safe.

Oh snap.

I think daves performance on vitalogy was pretty weak actually. The live versions before he ht the studio were a bit better. I dont think he fit the material. Irons did. Big time.

Oh Vitalogy, This is it the one. My Fav! It really is not even a album. It is something more. It has topography. It has weather. Long winding roads only fit for sports cars. It has dead ends. Ghettos and Ivory towers. Sun sets and atom bombs. The colors make it special. The genus here on Ed's part is breath taking. In fact it is more than that. I think this is the best album of the last 20 years. It was also the best album of the last 20years in 1994. I mean London Calling is really great but it aint Vitalogy.

I agree with everything you said here... except for that first stupid sentence.

Spinning now in honor of the anniversary. What else can you say besides, "Yep. Holy fuck, yes."

Evidently, Tj doesn't think Vitalogy is an album...

Nah, Binaural and Riot Act win the drums. Matt is safe.

At times it sounds as if he was drumming on a completely different song - one that would fit Vs. more than Vitalogy.

I had my mom buy it for me while I was in school on the day of the release, so that I had it when I arrived home. My initial reaction was a bit muted...I was caught off guard by some of the shorter, "filler" or "experimental" tracks, but then, of course, loved it. All of it, expect the last heyfoxymoma crap at the end.

yeah it took me a while to really like Vitalogy. It was so abrasive and those "weird" songs...it sounded so different from Vs.

I love how this one sounds...and Last Exit, Nothingman, Corduroy and Immortality are among my favorites ever.

Miss Dave, but i dont consider this one his albums. I dont know why but i always picture Jack here.
